They were gently salvaged from a passed mother opossum's pouch, preserving the memory of the tiny joeys who didn't make it after their mother was struck.
 
To honor their incredibly delicate scale, these tiny, 3/8-inch bones are perfectly paired with miniature, 4mm crisp white glass evil eye beads. The bright white-on-white composition creates a pure, striking monochromatic look that radiates clean, protective energy.
 
The Upgrade: Processing bones on a microscopic scale requires a master artisan's patience and specialized engineering. At this size, the slightest mistake can completely destroy the specimen. We take these wild-salvaged bones through a meticulous, multi-step studio transformation—spending months hand-flushing, macerating, deeply degreasing, whitening, and strictly sanitizing them. This exhaustive process guarantees that even the most fragile specimens are structural, completely pure, hyper-hygienic, and ready to wear with pride.
 
The Composition
The Specimens: Two matched, microscopic Virginia opossum vertebrae (Didelphis virginiana), ethically salvaged and processed entirely from scratch in-studio.
The Palette: A striking, clean monochromatic blend of snow-white bone, brilliant 4mm white glass beads with classic blue-and-black protective eyes, and bright silver.
The Loom/Build: A perfectly proportioned vertical stack where the tiny, detailed geometry of the opossum bone is nestled directly between two miniature 4mm white glass evil eye beads.
The Hardware: High-quality .925 silver-plated French-style fish hook ear wires and findings.
The Profile: A dainty, weightless total drop length of exactly 1 and 3/8 inches. The micro-vertebrae themselves measure a mere 3/8 of an inch.
