At Bone Boutique, we believe in honoring every facet of a specimen's journey, prioritizing respect, transparency, and a strict zero-waste philosophy. This formidable 12.5-inch wild boar (Sus scrofa) skull carries a powerful, highly ethical provenance: the mature animal was legally trapped on private property as part of local land management and responsibly harvested for food.
 
The striking ballistic entry on top of the cranium and the dramatic, explosive blowout at the rear are preserved exactly as they occurred during the harvest. Rather than discarding this remarkable anatomy, we brought it into the studio to ensure the animal was fully honored. The skull underwent our precise processing methods—meticulously cleaned, sanitized, whitened, and structurally stabilized right at our workbench. By preserving this piece, we transform a vital resource-management harvest into a lasting, sustainable work of raw sculptural art.

The Specimens: One genuine, legally trapped, and food-harvested wild boar (Sus scrofa) skull with an authentic ballistic entry and exit blowout.
The Palette: Stark, clean bone white contrasting with the natural, deeply textured ivory tones of the lower jaw.
The Anatomy: Outfitted with a fierce set of intact, curving lower tusks. Reflecting the authentic life of a wild, foraging animal, the jaw features a natural mix of remaining and naturally weathered teeth that give it unmistakable character. (Note: The smaller upper tusks are absent, pulling all visual focus to the massive lower weaponry).
The Profile: A heavy, commanding presence measuring 12.5 inches from the back of the sagittal crest to the tip of the snout, and standing 8.5 inches tall at its highest point. Weight is approximately 2.5 pounds.
 
Display & Decor
This piece serves as an architectural anchor designed for heavy mantles, prominent gallery shelving, or a rustic, industrial tabletop layout. Because it tells a completely different story depending on how it’s angled, it works beautifully as an interactive centerpiece.
