This 30-inch Asian-inspired necklace is a true statement of Wearable Conservation, personally approved by Phillip as a new addition to our men's line. The design features an 11-inch centerpiece of ethically sourced Everglades Python vertebrae, a striking testament to Florida's wild nature. The bones are a powerful focal point, meticulously arranged from largest in the middle and tapering to smaller ones at the ends. Interspersed between each vertebra are 6mm Lepidolite and 8mm Carnelian gemstones, creating a vibrant pattern of color and texture.
 
Additional, unique adornments—including a turquoise horse, a teardrop gemstone, a fire-torched bead, and a dragon-veined agate—add to the intricate, Nepal-inspired feel. The necklace is strung with matt burgundy seed beads and finished with a durable silver-plated lobster clasp, silver-plated cones, and our signature Baltic Birch logo charm.
 
The Story Behind the Piece
 
Honestly, it's usually Phillip's fault that the men's line is lacking—he keeps all the good pieces! This design was made specifically for our men's line, and it's a perfect reflection of our brand philosophy. Having worked our way through a good number of python vertebrae, we were left with what we had: the cervical and caudal bones with their natural, beautiful protrusions. While other osteo artists might file them down, we believe that would take away from their unique, one-of-a-kind character and drive up the cost. For us, time is the biggest overhead. We take what nature gives us and celebrate it. It’s also why we feel so lucky to work with python bones, as they come to us less damaged than bones from other animals. To date, we've logged nearly 150 snakes, and each one is a unique discovery.
