This design features two highly detailed, structurally robust vertebrae from the legendary Florida longnose garfish. Sourced sustainably from local, field-to-table harvests right here in Southwest Florida, these dense, prehistoric fish bones are meticulously preserved, giving a stunning second life to an incredible native specimen.
 
Suspended beneath the unique, ivory-toned garfish vertebrae are magnificent 20mm focal pendants: heavy-duty, gold-plated enamel evil eye coins encrusted with shimmering blue and clear crystal rhinestones. Layered with a 6mm teal glass evil eye bead at the top, the complete build offers an armor of protective energy and unmatched organic style.
 
Processing garfish vertebrae requires an immense understanding of aquatic specimens. Garfish bone is notoriously robust and requires intense, specialized degreasing techniques to achieve a flawless, pure finish without altering the intricate, interlocking texture of the spine. We take these specimens through months of rigorous hand-flushing, macerating, sanitizing, and whitening in the studio. This exhaustive process ensures absolute hygiene, museum-quality structure, and an authentic provenance you can display with pride.

The Specimens: Two matched, sustainably harvested Florida longnose garfish vertebrae (Lepisosteus osseus), completely processed from scratch in-studio.
The Palette: An opulent, coastal-inspired blend of crisp white bone, high-shine gold plating, rich teal enamel, and brilliant blue and clear rhinestones.
The Loom/Build: A perfectly balanced vertical drop where a 6mm teal glass evil eye coin bead sits stacked atop the ridged garfish vertebra, ending in a dangling, rhinestone-studded 20mm enamel eye coin.
