Salvaged from a Florida roadside rescue, these pelvic bones are the rare survivors of a collision that usually claims the entire specimen. Because of their dense structure, it has taken several years of patient degreasing and whitening to achieve this perfect, slightly patinaed finish. In a true marriage of my two creative lives, I have woven these bones with seed beads from my personal collection—some of which I have curated and held onto for over 30 years.

The Loom: Intricate seed beadwork from a 30-year legacy collection, hand-woven directly through the anatomical openings of the bone using professional jewelry wire and finished with secure crimps.

The Finding: 925 silver-plated circle lever-backs for a secure, comfortable fit.
