To round out the "Anatomical Loom" series, I’ve returned to the American Alligator. Like the Garnet pair, these are fashioned from a carpal and a phalanx, but the energy is entirely different.
I used size 11/0 orange seed beads that have a beautiful, clustered texture—they look just like orange caviar resting against the bone. These were fashioned using silver-plated, tarnish-resistant wire to ensure they stay as bright as the day I made them.
They are small but mighty statement pieces that celebrate the intricate shapes of Florida’s most iconic reptile.
