The Story
A true conversation starter that celebrates the resilience of nature. These asymmetrical earrings feature two large, translucent Quartz cabochons. Suspended from the teardrop stud is a rare find: two Everglades Python vertebrae that have naturally fused together. This pathology—likely the result of an injury, bone disease, or a natural re-articulation during the snake's life—makes this a one-of-a-kind specimen of natural history.
The Composition
The Specimen: Two naturally fused Everglades Python vertebrae (pathological specimen), hand-curated and whitened.
The Stones: * Two large Quartz cabochons (Triangular: 1" x 1 1/8"; Teardrop: 1 1/8" x 3/4").
Accent beads of Lapis (Blue), Red Carnelian, and Pink Jade (at the terminal drop).
The Hardware: 301 Stainless Steel studs with high-security clutches and a silver-toned pendant bail for the drop.
The Profile: An edgy, asymmetrical design with a 3-inch drop on the primary earring.
Style & Wear
The asymmetry is the star here. By wearing the minimalist triangular stud in one ear and the dramatic 3-inch python drop in the other, you create a look that is both balanced and bold. The neutral Quartz allows the vibrant pops of Lapis, Carnelian, and Pink Jade to really stand out against the white of the bone.
The Investment
Curation Price: $48
The Legacy: Hand-crafted in North Port, Florida by Michele Moore.
