The Story
These earrings carry a profound family history from the Moore Museum. They are crafted from the miniature bones of "Ray of Sunshine," a week-old colt who passed away a year before his mother, Little Miss Sunshine. While Ray is currently being rearticulated to join his mother in a custom memorial display at the Moore Museum of Art & Natural History, these few remaining elements were set aside for the Legacy Collection. Paired with high-clarity quartz, these earrings are a tribute to a brief but bright life—a "Ray of Light" preserved forever in stone and bone.
The Composition
A sophisticated, high-vibration design using rare, archival specimens.
The Bone: Authentic, miniature bones from a week-old colt. Like all young specimens, these bones are delicate, porous, and possess a unique "youthful" geometry.
The Accents: A curated assortment of Clear Quartz beads, including raw-cut shards and polished rounds. The clarity of the quartz acts as a window into the biological architecture of the bone.
The Metalwork: Finished with professional .925 Sterling Silver French-style ear wires (solid silver, not plated).
Length: A striking 2-inch drop. Please note that because these are natural specimens, one earring is slightly longer than the other, reflecting the organic asymmetry of life.

If you decide you no longer want a sculpture after receiving it, we encourage you to contact us within 7 days. We may be able to offer a store credit, depending on the specific item and its condition.
