The Story
This design is the ultimate marriage of my two worlds: the dedicated bead enthusiast and the curator of the "spectacular and dangerous." I’ve taken the humerus bones from a young American alligator (roughly 4 to 5 feet in length) and hand-stitched a custom Peyote Stitch band directly around the bone. This isn't just jewelry; it’s a tactile conversation between ancient anatomy and traditional craft. It’s a rare opportunity to wear a piece of Florida’s most iconic predator in a way that feels intimate and artistic.
The Composition
The Bone: Two 3.5-inch American alligator humerus bones, curated to a smooth, bright finish. These are perfectly sized for statement wear.
The Beadwork: Hand-woven Peyote Stitch bands in a high-contrast Turquoise and Yellow palette, adding a geometric "sleeve" to the natural curve of the bone.
The Hardware: Engineered for the weight of the bone with a heavy-duty 9mm jump ring paired with a substantial 15mm anchor ring through the bone itself.
The Finding: 925 silver-plated circle lever-backs.
Style & Wear
With a total 4.5-inch drop, these are significant, one-of-a-kind pieces. The humerus bone has a beautiful, weighted swing to it, and the turquoise/yellow beads pop against any hair color or skin tone. Because alligator bones of this specific "wearable" size are rare to find in such perfect condition, this pair is a true "one-of-one" legacy piece.

If you decide you no longer want a sculpture after receiving it, we encourage you to contact us within 7 days. We may be able to offer a store credit, depending on the specific item and its condition.
