Wild Boar (Invasive/Harvested/Road Salvage): These epiphyses come from wild boar, which are invasive to the United States and pose significant property damage. These specimens were ethically salvaged from private properties during necessary removal/harvesting programs & road salvage, ensuring the entire animal is utilized.
Raccoon (Road Salvage): The raccoon bones represent our poignant work in road salvage. While we cannot save every animal, finding and giving a second life to these epiphyses—bones that would otherwise be lost—is a heartfelt way to honor the spirit of the raccoon, a pervasive and often-seen part of the Florida ecosystem.
