The Story

A celebration of skeletal divergence. This set features the rarely seen separation of the nine-banded armadillo’s tibia and fibula—bones that are typically fused but have naturally come apart in this specimen. To balance this vertical grace, the opposing earring features a single wild boar phalanx (toe bone), precision-drilled to hang horizontally. Part of the Anatomical Loom collection, these pieces weave together the legacy of Florida’s wilder side with intricate beadwork.

The Composition

  • The Specimens: One naturally separated nine-banded armadillo tibia and one wild boar phalange (hand-drilled).

  • The Palette: Rich, warm tones featuring 8mm and 6mm Carnelian, Rose Quartz, Red Bamboo Coral, and deep Garnet.

  • The Loom: Intricate seed bead weaving nestled within the armadillo tibia, utilizing legacy beads from the studio archives.

  • The Hardware: Professional-grade 10mm stainless steel stud posts for a secure, hypoallergenic fit.

  • The Profile: A dramatic 3-inch drop with a bold, asymmetrical silhouette.

Style & Wear

The beauty of this set lies in the "mismatched" harmony. The armadillo side offers a sleek, vertical line that elongates the neck, while the boar phalanx adds a unique horizontal architectural element. Wear these when you want your jewelry to be as much of a conversation piece as it is a fashion statement.
