Escape into the serene beauty of the Myakka River with "Hidden Blue on the Myakka," a 9x12 original watercolor painting by Michele Moore. This tranquil scene was captured by the artist during a peaceful fishing outing with Phillip from the Senator Bob Johnson Landing, a recent addition to North Port's wonderful parks.

While Phillip focused on landing the day's catch, Michele's artistic eye was drawn to a hidden gem nestled along the riverbank. Just beyond the bustling US41 overpass, near the Fuggedaboutit RV Resort, a single-story light blue building stood quietly amidst the lush Florida foliage. Framed by swaying pine and palm trees, with glimpses of the highway subtly veiled by the brush, the white door and horizontal slider windows of this riverfront home exude a sense of peaceful seclusion.

Painted in the studio using the finest professional watercolor paints, including Daniel Smith, HWC, and Winsor & Newton, on premium 100% cotton Baohong paper, this piece captures the unique light and atmosphere of a quiet moment on the Myakka. The painting is meticulously matted in black, ready for you to frame and display its serene beauty in your home. As the snowbirds journey north, "Hidden Blue on the Myakka" offers a glimpse into the tranquil heart of Southwest Florida, a scene cherished by locals.
