This original drawing holds a deep, personal significance, marking the beginning of a powerful new series for the artist. Titled "My Stepmom's Coffee Pot," this piece features a cherished item inherited from the artist's stepmother—a symbol of family legacy and a lifelong passion for collecting.

This is the very first study in the series, rendered at a friend's home in Miami. The composition is a simple yet emotionally rich still life, featuring the footed coffee pot set alongside a framed print that includes the work of artist Lillian Valton. The artist utilized the expressive, rich textures of Soft Pastel, Pan Pastel, and Charcoal on 100% cotton watercolor paper.

As part of the mission of Images of Therapy to make art accessible, this original piece is available for just $35.00, allowing you to own a tangible piece of the artist's journey and personal history.
