The centerpiece is a striking, ethically salvaged raccoon mandible, with both sides connected to form a single, powerful pendant. The necklace is expertly strung on either side through a hole you meticulously made in the mandible's coronoid process, creating a balanced and symmetrical design that is both unique and bold.
 
The rest of the necklace is a rustic blend of earthy materials and vibrant color. Large 10mm and 12mm round cork beads are interspersed with 8mm round and 4mm rondelle turquoise beads, creating a pattern that is both organic and eye-catching. The entire necklace is finished with a run of straight 4mm turquoise beads, providing a beautiful weight and drape that is comfortable for all-day wear.
 
The Story Behind the Piece
 
We wanted to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece for our men's line, and this raccoon mandible was the perfect canvas. The bone's natural shape inspired the design, but it was the purposeful creation of the hole in the coronoid process that made this piece possible. It's a key part of our artistic process, ensuring the necklace hangs perfectly. We paired it with the natural, rustic texture of cork and the powerful pop of turquoise to create a piece that feels both grounded and wild.
