Merging electronic remnants with natural history, this pair of statement earrings anchors our wearable conservation collection with a bold, color-inverted design. At its heart is a beautifully matched raccoon pelvis salvaged from the roads. Because this was a younger specimen, the pelvis naturally separated at the growth plates into two perfectly symmetrical mirroring halves, showcasing a gorgeous, complex porosity.
 
While the biological specimens are a natural match, the design plays with a starkly flipped color story using internal wiring harvested from our studio's spent USB-C charging cables. One earring features a black cord accented by a black jet glass faceted bead nestled between two sparkly red plastic rondelle beads. Its companion piece perfectly mirrors the layout with a red cord and a red bead nested between two black sparkly rondelle beads. These earrings are designed to be a heavy-hitting conversation starter, turning industrial waste and road-salvaged mortality into an unforgettable visual statement.
 
Each side loops through the natural obturator foramen of the bone and secures to the ear via a premium, professional-grade .925 silver-plated circle lever-back finding.
