These striking caudal bone earrings carry a powerful narrative of local roadkill salvage. This Florida Common Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina) was ethically recovered from our regional roads, ensuring that a tragic vehicular loss was transformed into a meaningful tool for conservation awareness.
 
After undergoing our precise processing methods—meticulously cleaned, sanitized, and patiently whitened to a flawless studio finish—these intricate tail vertebrae have been resurrected into a stunning pair of high-contrast statement earrings. By pairing the raw, structural geometry of the natural world with brilliant, ice-like crystals, we celebrate the enduring elegance of Florida's native wildlife.
 
The Composition
The Specimens: Genuine, ethically salvaged Florida Common Snapping Turtle caudal (tail) vertebrae, road-recovered locally.
The Palette: A pristine, bright studio-white bone paired with brilliant, light-refracting clear crystals and clean silver findings.
The Anatomy: Highly detailed caudal vertebrae, showcasing the sharp, star-like skeletal processes and intricate architectural lines unique to turtle tail anatomy.
The Engineering: Each bone is anchored onto a high-quality, non-tarnish silver eye pin, flanked securely by brilliant 6mm clear bicone crystals. A premium, round faceted 8mm Preciosa crystal dangles elegantly from a silver-plated ball head pin at the absolute bottom.
