I am so thrilled to finally share The Grand Bone-sai! This is my largest and most ambitious bone tree to date, measuring a spectacular 27 inches tall and 22 inches wide. It truly is the ultimate expression of Tangible Conservation and Resurrection Art.
This piece embodies a legacy that started back in 2019 with my first blue-ribbon winner, “Easily Amused.” I have gone on to make many Bone-sai’s since, but this one is the queen. It is built from hundreds of meticulously cleaned and ethically sourced animal bones—including armadillo vertebrae, invasive Burmese python ribs, alligator teeth, and other treasures I have been honored to work with.
Unlike my earliest work, this Bone-sai features exposed copper wiring throughout. I intentionally wove it in to act as a life-giving vein or arterial system, connecting every element and injecting a powerful metallic life force into the piece. It is a full circle moment for me as an artist—transforming remnants of the wild into a timeless, enduring symbol of life.

Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged due to our packaging or shipping, we will gladly offer a full refund or replacement, upon verification with photos of the damage. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at michele@boneboutique.biz.
Change of Mind: While we cannot offer returns on sculptures due to their delicate nature, we understand that unforeseen circumstances might occur. If you decide you no longer want a sculpture after receiving it, we encourage you to contact us within 7 days. We may be able to offer a store credit, depending on the specific item and its condition.
