Balancing Business and Creativity: A Week in Review

It's been a whirlwind of a week, filled with both creative pursuits and entrepreneurial endeavors. After a much-needed break from the digital realm, I've emerged refreshed and ready to dive back into the world of Bone Boutique.

The week kicked off with a productive day at the office, tackling the never-ending tasks of pricing, photographing, and listing new inventory. It's a labor of love, but it's essential to keep our shop stocked with unique pieces.

Next came the thrill of networking at the George Mullen Center and the Anna Maria Oyster Bar. Connecting with other local businesses is always inspiring, and I'm excited about the potential collaborations and partnerships that may blossom from these connections.

A highlight of the week was reconnecting with my artistic roots. I've been experimenting with watercolor on bone, and the results are truly magical. The delicate balance of color and texture is creating some truly unique pieces. I've also been delving deeper into metalworking, crafting my own findings and closures. It's been a rewarding journey of discovery and learning.

To top it off, I had the pleasure of attending a Sketch of the Week class with Laura Pommier. Her guidance and inspiration reignited my passion for drawing and sketching.

As always, I'm grateful for the support of our amazing customers who make this journey possible. Stay tuned for exciting new products and collections as I continue to explore the endless possibilities of bone art.

A special shoutout to our Bone Collective members! Your support allows me to experiment with new techniques and materials, resulting in exclusive pieces that find their way into your monthly packages. By joining the Bone Collective, you're not just receiving beautiful jewelry; you're becoming part of an artistic journey and helping to sustain a small business.
