The Untamed Chronicles: A Year of Bones, Beauty, and Belonging

As I sit here reflecting on the past twelve months, the first thing I feel is the phantom weight of a paintbrush in my hand and the very real hum of gratitude in my heart.
2025 wasn't just a year of business growth; it was the year the Bone Boutique and the Images of Therapy found their soul. Whether you’ve been with us since our first local craft shows or you just discovered us through a digital window, I wanted to pull back the curtain on the "One-Woman Army" and the man who helps keep the army marching.
The Heartbeat of North Port
To my neighbors here in North Port: you are where this story begins. Every Monday morning, my priority is the Paint Posse updates. These aren't just "business tasks" for me—they are a commitment to the people who depend on me.
But the real magic happens the day before. Every Sunday morning, the Paint Posse paint outs allow the stress of the past week to simply melt away. Those sessions recharge both Phillip and me, giving us the clarity and energy we need to face the week to come. You’ve allowed me to show the raw, unedited side of creation through "Images of Therapy," and for that, I am truly grateful.
36 States and a Global Suitcase
One of the most frequent questions I get is, "How far does the Bone Boutique reach?"
While we only ship within the US, our map is currently glowing with pins in 36 states. But the story doesn’t stop at the border. What moves me the most is how our work makes it overseas. Because we don't ship internationally, our art only leaves the country when it is hand-picked and hand-carried.
Whether you bought a piece directly at a Pop Up, an Art Show, or online with a US address, you’ve become our international ambassadors. I know of our Bone Jewelry currently being worn in New Zealand, Canada, and the Netherlands. We have art in Germany, and right now, a dear friend is traveling to Belgium with gifts from our studio tucked into her luggage. Knowing that our work is being carried across oceans as a personal treasure is a level of connection I never expected.
The Team: Michele & Phillip
For those of you who see the polished jewelry or the museum displays, you might not see the daily dance between Phillip and me.
People often ask how we do it. It’s a balance of extremes. I am the "Bone Doctor," deep in the lab, often losing track of time as I find the beauty in the macabre. And then there’s Phillip. Many of you might not know that Phillip is colorblind—which makes for some pretty soulful conversations when I’m trying to describe the iridescent shimmer on a new collection!
He is the steady hand to my whirlwind of creativity. This business is our shared life, our therapy, and our way of proving that a small-town dream can have a global footprint through the power of a local community.
Why We Do What We Do
Every piece of jewelry and every museum specimen is a tribute to the overlooked. Nature doesn't waste anything, and neither do we. When you wear a piece of the Bone Boutique, you aren't just wearing jewelry; you're wearing a story of survival, transformation, and a piece of our home.
Looking Toward 2026
Our window of creativity is wide open. We have new collections on the horizon from Bone Boutique, more civic involvement planned for North Port, new in house fine art reproductions from Images of Therapy, and a drive to keep pushing the boundaries of what "natural art" can be.
Thank you for being part of this chronicle. Whether you’ve purchased art from us, referred a friend, left a Google review, landed on our website, or simply followed our journey, you are the reason we get to do what we love.
Here’s to an untamed, beautiful, and bone-deep 2026. Love you!
