THE STORY
A true centerpiece of the Bone & Blossom collection, this sculpture explores the delicate intersection of aquatic armor and terrestrial remains. The "petals" are individually selected scales from a Plecostomus (Pleco fish) salvaged from a private pond in Port Charlotte, Florida. What was once a rugged, protective exterior has been reimagined into a soft, blooming flower that will never fade.
THE COMPOSITION
The Bloom: Intricately layered Pleco scales, creating a textural floral head that mimics a desert rose or lotus.
The Stem: A slender, expertly cleaned raccoon fibula, providing a sturdy, organic backbone for the bloom.
The Display: Set in a modern, textured white ceramic vessel filled with vibrant, preserved reindeer moss.
Dimensions: Stands approximately 7 inches tall.
THE STYLE & DECOR
This isn't just a sculpture; it’s a piece of the Moore Museum of Art & Natural History for your home. This botanical oddity is designed for the curious curator who appreciates "dark academia" or "maximalist" aesthetics. It serves as a sophisticated focal point for a mantle, a glass-front curiosity cabinet, or a desktop. Because it uses real biological elements transformed into a floral silhouette, it bridges the gap between natural history and high-end interior design.
THE INVESTMENT $45.00
