The Story
The Arctic Bloom. Sometimes, the smallest pieces require the most patience. This 2.5-inch miniature is a successful experiment in "Bone Botany"—a result of a lengthy, strenuous process to achieve a pure, porcelain-white finish on organic fish scales (likely salvaged Mangrove Snapper).
Working with these scales is a delicate dance; they are so light that a single gust of Florida wind can scatter a week’s worth of preparation. This "Bone Blossom" has been carefully tamed and set into a deep black shadowbox background, emerging from a bed of preserved natural moss. It is a tiny, redemptive tribute to the intricate geometry found beneath the surface of our local waters.
The Composition
A high-contrast, sculptural miniature that reimagines salvaged aquatic elements as a delicate winter rose.
The Bone: Hand-processed and whitened fish scales, ethically salvaged from local Florida species.
The Frame: A 2.5 x 2.5-inch hand-gilded gold "cradle" frame.
Display: Includes a small hanging hook on the back. (Small black display easel shown in photos is not included).
Authenticity: Includes a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity by Michele Moore.

Note on Handling: This is an exceptionally fragile fine art piece. We recommend hanging it in a safe area to protect the delicate skeletal petals from being disturbed.

Change of Mind: While we cannot offer returns on sculptures due to their delicate nature, we understand that unforeseen circumstances might occur. If you decide you no longer want a sculpture after receiving it, we encourage you to contact us within 7 days. We may be able to offer a store credit, depending on the specific item and its condition.
