On June 18, 2026, the City of North Port celebrated its 67th Annual Founder’s Day and officially unveiled its contemporary new brand identity. Sitting among the crowd, engulfed in the energy of our community's next chapter, I had exactly one hour to capture history live on location. I brought home and finished the piece in studio.

This mixed-media composition reinterprets the city’s new iconography using vibrant watercolor, rich acrylic, and genuine gold leaf. Because it was created live in the moment, it stands as a true piece of public heritage—a permanent visual love letter to the place I have called home for over two decades.
