At Bone Boutique, transparency, respect, and a strict zero-waste philosophy guide every piece of wearable conservation we design. These unique Plecostomus fish vertebrae earrings carry a beautiful story of wild foraging and patience. Over three years ago, while out in the Florida field collecting a salvaged cow specimen, we came across a receding pond where these armored fish had naturally passed. We gathered a bucket of them, brought them back to the studio bench, and waited until the time was exactly right to process them.
After undergoing our precise processing methods—meticulously cleaned, sanitized, and patiently whitened to a flawless studio-white finish—these intricate spinal bones have been resurrected into a stunning pair of statement earrings. By transforming naturally passed wildlife into high-end jewelry, we celebrate the raw elegance of Florida's ecosystems without compromise.

The Specimens: Genuine, ethically salvaged Plecostomus (armored catfish) vertebrae, naturally found and field-collected over three years ago in Florida.
