The Story 🌸💀
Born from a 16-day, 4-state trek across Brazil and inspired by a jewelry design book featuring German metalsmith Karin Seufert (gifted by fellow artist Carolina Lacerda), this piece marks a pivotal step into new creative horizons. It represents "Post-Brazil Michele"—an intentional bridge between raw osteological architecture and delicate floral sculpture.
The focal element is an intact coyote pelvis from an ethically salvaged local specimen. Picked up during roadside collection in Southwest Florida, this sizeable bone remained completely unharmed—suggesting a quick, sudden head impact, ensuring the animal did not suffer. Paired along its natural arch are translucent fish scale blooms that have been patiently degreased and cured in the studio since 2023, anchored with deep red glass beads that echo the vital energy of the journey.
The Composition
The Focal Specimen: Ethically salvaged coyote pelvis 5 inches by 4 inches. Cleaned and whitened in-house without harsh chemicals.
Accents & Beadwork: Hand-clustered translucent fish scales (3-year degreasing and curing process) with rich red glass seed beads.
Hardware & Chain: Nickel-free gold-tone chain link with matching jump ring attachments and lobster clasp closure.

Wear & Style
A true wearable conservation statement piece. The wide V-shape of the pelvic arch naturally frames the chest, creating a bold chevron silhouette. It sits beautifully against dark solids, high necklines, or deep V-cuts for gallery openings, art crawls, and high-impact everyday wear.
