The Story
These are not your average hoop earrings. The featured bone is from an adolescent goat, donated to me by a small farm in Venice after it passed from natural causes. Because the animal was so young, the bone is exceptionally porous—so much so that I had to use tape just to clear the last of the natural fibers from the surface. I’ve engineered these into a "huggie" style using jewelry wire to ensure they stay lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear.
The Composition
The Bone: Rare, highly porous adolescent goat bones rescued from a Venice, FL farm.
The Wood: A lightweight structural mix of 10mm bicone natural wood, 12mm wood rings, triangular wood accents, and 6mm round beads.
The Gemstones: A flamboyant drop featuring Pink Jade, 6mm Malaysian Jade, and Dzi Agate from the 2024 Legacy Collection installment.
The Hardware: 4mm studs marked 925 (Gold over Sterling Silver) with matching 925 clutches.
Style & Wear
Designed as a 1.5-inch loop with an additional 1-inch gemstone drop, these earrings offer a bold, earthy look without the heavy weight. The mix of natural wood and porous bone creates a textured, "Sabi" aesthetic that feels as light as it looks.
The Investment
Current Curation Price: $40
The Legacy: Features elements from our 2024 acquired gemstone collection and locally rescued Florida bone.
